Founder & Board Director
Marketta Kirby is the visionary founder and Board Director of the Loop Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening families, supporting re-entry, and transforming communities impacted by incarceration. With a deep commitment to justice reform and community empowerment, Marketta launched the foundation to ensure that families can stay connected through visitation support, that returning citizens have access to resources for a successful re-entry, and that communities are given tools to thrive.
As a social entrepreneur and advocate, Marketta brings both lived experience and professional expertise to her leadership. Her work bridges the gap between transportation, community services, and innovative technology, creating solutions that reduce barriers and build hope for families navigating the justice system.
Under her leadership, Loop Foundation is expanding its programs to include family transportation assistance, re-entry support services, and mental health initiatives, all powered by a vision of equity, dignity, and opportunity.
Marketta is known for her relentless drive, creative problem-solving, and unwavering dedication to building systems that restore families and communities. She continues to work alongside advocates, policymakers, and community partners to push forward a mission of connection, healing, and justice.
